public square mural
In 2024, I was approached by LAND Studio in Cleveland to digitally design a vinyl mural for the Art Wall, a rotating art space on Public Square. Each quarter, a new local artist is picked to transform our cityscape, enriching it with creativity.
This piece is based on the Ohio wildlife my family and I have been watching through the lens of our home’s backyard windows. Inspired by my recent side-quest of illustrating children’s books, I decided to portray two kids going on an adventure in the Cuyahoga Valley. It’s been especially fun to imagine our son growing up and exploring the nature around us. And because Cleveland’s nature is pure woodland magic - why not add in a bit of a fantastical element? I mean... who doesn’t love a squirrel wearing a scarf
